I thought...

that I recognised some of the little monster things on the "some velvet mornin" on the previous post by RA909, and I remembered why! It turns out I have a t-shirt designed by him, check it out:



I really love this t-shirt, I got it just before Christmas in a little store in Edinburgh, it's by RA909 for People Like Us and you can see more of it on their site here.

From that site, RA909:
"The inspiration behind this shirt should be obvious... maybe. It’s the creative explosion of me ingesting a lot of 70s 80s newave / punk / funk culture with my ghostie characters making a cameo appearance. I’m a huge fan of color and try to incorporate combinations which wake up the design and show off the detail.
Yeah, so you should definitely buy this shirt - you'll have all the scene kids jealous."

Turns out the RA stands for Ronald Ashburn, his site is here, it looks like he does some DJing too, I am just downloading a mix of his now to see what its like.

Film reviews

The Golden Compass - terrible, insult to the books and the girl that plays Lyra is incredibly annoying!

Cashback - a great surprise, very enjoyable began to get a bit weaker towards the end but full of surprises!

The Bucket List - Harmless comedy with two legends doing hteir thing, worth a watch.
